Sofia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked in mental health and education for over 20 years. She has spent over a decade working in the non-profit sector. She has helped establish and promote programs for children, adults, and families. Sofia is a specialist in neurodevelopmental impairments and has had the opportunity to assist employees and clients dealing with psychosocial stressors due to this experience. Sofia is committed to creating programs and services that improve the quality of life for disabled children and adults. Sofia has been educating graduate students in social work for over 15 years.

Sofia is a proud California State University, Fullerton undergraduate with a Bachelor’s in Sociology with an emphasis in Social Work and a Master's in Social Work with a concentration in Health at the University of Southern California.

Sofia joined Reimagine over 20 years ago after completing her Master's in Social Work with a concentration in Health at the University of Southern California.
Sofia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with two decades of experience working with children and adults with developmental disabilities. Formerly serving as Reimagine Chief of Services, Child Development Programs, and North County Operations, Sofia led the Children’s Services programs at the Orange and Fullerton campuses, successfully expanding the program to serve more children in the Orange County Area. She brings her longtime management and direct experience working with children and adults with disabilities to a community that knows her well.

Sofia has been teaching social work for over 15 years, and she is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Social Work at the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School
of Social Work. She is also a member of the Network for Social Work Management and National Association of Social Workers.
